Computers cost money. Not only that, the hardware needed to keep the computers running costs even more money. So when a large sum of equipment is donated to the university, it is a big dead. Every time a computer is logged on to, every time a professor uploads an assignment on Moodle, every time a student saves a piece of homework on the H drive, or even accesses the internet, requires memory space.

While at Western, students' lives consist of school, eating, a little sleeping and perhaps some work.  Sometimes we get so involved here that we cannot fathom what it will be like when we are done and go out into "the real world."  School is our world.

Western Oregon takes down Saint Martin's in Saturday's game 67-66

Elise Miller scored a career-high 19 points, including all seven points in overtime, to lead the Western  women's basketball team to a 67-66 overtime victory against Saint Martin's on Saturday, Feb. 11. The freshman Miller recorded the best game of her career as she hit 9-of-11 shots from the field, dished out three assists and also had six steals to help lead the Wolves to their second straight home victory.
