The Department of Public Safety Standards and Training invites you to attend the Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony in honor of those who have given their lives in the performance of their duties. The ceremony will be held Thursday, May 12, 2005 at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. It will be held on the site of the Memorial Wall, at the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training: 550 North Monmouth Avenue, Monmouth, Oregon. Protocol: officers are requested to attend in uniform (ceremonial preferred), and will be asked to participate. Memorial bands should be worn over badges. When bringing a marked patrol vehicle for display, ensure it is clean. Other parking is available behind the academy building. For additional information, contact Sue Amend at (503) 378-2358.
