The Western lady hoopsters struggled to a 5-22 overall record and 2-16 10^th-place conference finish for the 2005 season.  The Paula Pietrok-led squad was whittled to just 10 players by the end of the year, including three freshmen and four sophomores, after four athletes left the team during the season for undisclosed reasons.

Senior Shannon Talbott was the Wolves’ leader all season, averaging a team-best 14.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest, and was an honorable mention All-GNAC pick.

GNAC All-Academic selections included junior Michelle Laski, Talbott and sophomore Kagney Kohne.
