Dear Western Oregon Journal,

Love the new format, love the new columnists and your new focus on the world outside Western that affects us all. I had often thought that the Western Oregon Journal resembled a high-school newspaper in both form and outlook. You seem to be moving it in the direction of a paper that reflects the excellence of the faculty and the intelligence of the student body at Western. Congratulations, and keep up the good work.
