Red and White game scheduled

Western head football coach Arne Ferguson has announced his 2012 Spring Ball practice schedule.

After a week of conditioning and meetings, the Wolves had their first practice on Monday April 9. The team will practice Monday through Thursday of next week (field conditions permitting) from 3:30-6 p.m., before settling into a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday practice routine as they build towards the annual Red & White game.

The Red & White game will be held on May 5 at 1 p.m. and will be the last of three Spring scrimmages for the Wolves. The first will be held on Saturday April 21 at 1 p.m. and the second will be on Friday April 27 at 4 p.m.

The Red & White game will also be the first chance for Western Oregon football fans to purchase season tickets for the upcoming year. The Wolves will host six home games during the 2012 season, including national powerhouse Grand Valley State in addition to their GNAC rivals.
